Diaspora Volunteering Alliance (DVA) Annual Conference 1st June 2015

imagesWe are pleased to invite you to the Diaspora Volunteering Alliance’s 4th Annual Conference, ‘The Future of Diaspora Volunteering in Development’ on Monday 1st June 2015 at the Amnesty Human Rights Centre, 17-25 New Inn Yard, London  EC2A 3EA.  

This one-day conference will bring together diaspora-led groups, decision makers and volunteer-involving organisations to discuss how we can create opportunities for diaspora volunteering from the current economic, social and political climate in the UK and internationally.

Confirmed speakers include Baroness Young, First Chair of the new All Party Parliamentary Group on Diaspora, Development and Migration, Siddo Deva, Head of Comic Relief’s Common Ground Initiative, speaking about the new programme strategy and Mike Battcock, DFID, leading the Civil Society Department’s work on faith, diaspora and Governance.
