Description:
Conference to discuss the First World War contributions of black people from the Caribbean,
Africa and from Britain who volunteered to serve in the Armed forces. These volunteers fought,
and died, for the ‘mother country’ and for freedom, and thereby helped to preserve the values
and the heritage after 99 years of been whitewashed out of the history books.
