Xpress U (Youth Radio/ Podcast Club)
Know any young people in Derby/shire 6-18yrs, who would enjoy some radio-making fun? Build confidence and make new friends.
Learn how to make radio/podcast and showcase your shows on our platforms and Derby Sound Community Radio Station, where we broadcast an Easter Show, Summer Show and a Christmas Show.
We give you tasks to complete to create your own shows. We also work with other community groups and on topics to get the voices of the youth heard with special shows and podcasts.

FREE Xpress U (Youth Radio/Podcast) hybrid sessions in person and online for 3 different age groups between 6-18yrs with M-prez Enterprise.
Tickets must only be booked for children and young people. Teachers and other professionals with an interest in the project should contact us separately.
The session dates and times are as follows and divided by age group. Please complete the consent forms to secure your child’s place.
5.00 pm -5.45 pm (6-8 year olds)
6.00 pm-6.15 pm(9-14 year olds)
7.15 pm-8.15 pm (15-18 year olds)
Our regular sessions lead to a radio broadcast on Derby Sound Community Radio and on our Mixcloud platform and podcast.
Regular sessions from September 2022 are every 1st and 3rd Monday of the month during term time.
