Where:
South and City College, Soho Rd, B21 9LR Birmingham

We are pleased to announce the date of our first 300 Voices Round Table Meeting for voluntary organisations. This event is set up in partnership between Time to Change pilot project, 300 Voices, and Cope, Black Mental Health Foundation.

Time to Change, the mental health anti stigma programme run by the charities Mind and Rethink Mental Illness, has launched a pilot project with Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust and West Midlands Police, to empower 300 young African and Caribbean men to help reduce the stigma and discrimination they may encounter when accessing services in inpatient mental health settings.

This meeting is for Voluntary and Community Agencies that work with or have an interest in the mental health services for young African and Caribbean men in Birmingham. Drawing upon your local knowledge, it will look to explore the issue, the constraints, and how we can work together towards tackling these to make this much needed change.

Come and join in the discussion on 8th May to help us find out more about how we can work collaboratively to tackle this issue.

We hope you can make it!

Cheers,
Mike Silvera (300 Voices), Jenny Hudson (300 Voices), Doreen Osbourne (COPE)
