The deadline for the next round of Small Grants applications is 1stNovember. Following the first round there is £15K left to allocate with the potential to extend this to £30K depending on the quantity and quality of proposals which come forward. Proposals are encouraged from voluntary and community sector groups and organisations across the Birmingham South area.
Birmingham and Black Country Communities Fund grants are awarded from the earnings of a number of endowment funds, which are created from contributions by individuals, companies and trusts and managed by Heart of England Community Foundation.
The Fund aims to help;
People living in Birmingham and the Black Country who face some form of disadvantage or social exclusion.
Grants can be made for projects that meet one or more of the following criteria:
- Promote health and wellbeing
- Tackle disadvantage
- Support local solutions to meet local needs
- Promote community cohesion
- Develop sustainable & supportive communities

This programme is intended to support smaller groups, with income less than £50,000, who have not received any grant administered by HoECF in the last 12 months.
We will prioritise groups who have not previously received funding from Heart of England Community Foundation own grant programmes or those programmes that we manage and deliver for example Red Nose Day 2015 or ESF Funding. See our Available
